Smith and Wesson Model 36 .38 Special

Cerakote Projects, Pistols
In this project We went trolling our local pawn shops for a restorable candidate and today we found a S&W Model 36 that was in pretty bad shape. The Smith & Wesson Model 36 is a revolver chambered for .38 Special. It is one of several models of "J-frame" Smith & Wesson revolvers. It was introduced in 1950, and is still in production today. With the Model 36, Smith & Wesson sought to design a revolver that could fire the more powerful .38 Special round in a small, concealable package. Big Weekend Deal (several weekends actually), get a PSA AR 15 all Magpol dressed out  and a  SpringField XDs 45 cal for $800 bucks. How could you pass up…

FireStar M40 in Micro Desert Camo

Cerakote Projects, Pistols
Cerakoting a Star FireStar M40 I aquired this as a local Pawn Shop rescue during my rounds looking for projects. It was not considered worthy enough in its condition to warrant a space in the Premium Guns display cabinet of their pawn shop. After asking for what they had behind the counters, one of the gents strolled out with this little jewel. A Star FireStar M40 from Star Bonifacio Echeverria, S.A. in Eibar, Spain.  I typically look for guns that are in need of some special assistance as our candidates for Cerakoting and this one sure fits the bill.   [caption id="attachment_74" align="aligncenter" width="640"] Star FireStar M40[/caption] About The Firestar Firearm ~Wikipedia The Star Firestar is a series of single-action semi-automatic pistol consisting of four models that received the 1991 Handgun of the…
